Learn how to cook like a real Chef in this fun, hands-on, and interactive 6-class series! Cooking is always more fun with friends and this cooking series is an excellent way to meet new people with similar interests and improve your cooking skills while learning tips, tricks, and techniques from our Professional Chef Instructors! These classes give you the hands-on foundation of knowledge and skill to take you to a higher level of cooking and meal preparation. In this 6-day hands-on series you’ll develop a command of the classic culinary techniques that Chefs use every day. You will also learn and use a variety of cooking methods like roasting, sous vide, grilling, sautéing, pan-frying, stir-frying, braising, poaching, and steaming. You will also learn about flavor profiles, seasoning, marinades, rubs, and how to layer flavors. This series is a “must-take” class if you want to master the art of cooking and gain the confidence to experiment with your own creations while honing your cooking skills at home. We guarantee that this will be a fun, rewarding, and enriching experience!

Our cooking series will involve a group of people that share the same love and passion for food and the culinary arts! You will get to cook with the same group for the duration of the series and will experience personalized attention from our professional Chef Instructors. We provide recipes, ingredients, supplies, tools, hats, aprons, and anything else you will need during class. All you have to do is show up ready to enjoy cooking!

As part of this series you will:

Class Schedule: (Sunday’s from 4:00PM-7:00PM)

  • Class 1: September 11th
  • Class 2: September 18th
  • Class 3: September 25th
  • Class 4: October 9th
  • Class 5: October 23rd
  • Class 6: October 30th

Class 1: Knife Skills

  • Knife safety
  • Sharpening techniques and how to use a stone
  • Choosing the best knife and cutting board for you

Class 2: Breakfast Foods

  • How to properly cook eggs
  • Sauteed, scrambled poached, and frittatas
  • Pancakes and Belgian waffles
  • Biscuits & gravy
  • Proper ingredient measuring techniques

Class 3: Poultry & Pork

  • Roasting, grilling, braising, & sauteing methods
  • Smoking pork and poultry
  • Spices and seasoning
  • Marinades and dry rubs

Class 4: Vegetables & Salads

  • Tossed, bound, and composed salads
  • Scratch made dressings
  • Roasting, sauteing, and grilling methods

Class 5: Beef

  • Roasting, searing, grilling, stewing methods
  • Sous Vide techniques
  • Temperature control and degrees of doneness
  • Cutting and slicing
  • Choosing the right steak

Class 6: Seafood

  • Seafood identification and cooking methods
  • Determining freshness
  • How to filet a whole fish
  • Cooking fish and shellfish
  • Grilling, sous vide, roasting, sauteing, searing, and steaming

We use common ingredients in our classes and all ingredients may not be listed in the class description. if you have a food allergy we ask that you understand our goal is to teach cooking techniques and it will not always be possible to change class menus and ingredients to accommodate those with allergies. It is best to call us and ask about a specific class so we may better help you.

Due to the nature of our cooking series, no make-ups for missed classes or swapping for another person not in the series will be permitted.
