Chef John Alunni, MS, Executive Chef
Chef John believes that one of the basic truths of cooking in the early 21st century is that folks don’t learn it at home as much as they used to. This is foremost in Chef’s mind as he guides The Cutting Edge Classroom Cooking School in its goal to educate East Tennessee in culinary skills and introduce fun into the kitchen. To quote Chef John, “Food ties us to family, tradition, and friends”. People that cook together share memories that last a lifetime!
Chef Alunni is an award winning Chef who has been very active in our community by participating and competing in many fundraising events such as Wine on the Water for Cystic Fibrosis, Taste of Home for KARM, Signature Chef Auction for March of Dimes, and Chili Cook-off for Second harvest. You can see him as a regular on WBIR and WVLT as he shares cooking knowledge and technique to viewers all over East Tennessee!
Chef Alunni is a prominent professional with experience ranging from Executive Chef with CAESARS Resorts to teaching Culinary Arts for The University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State College and has taught cooking classes to Adults and Children for the past 13 years. He loves to share his knowledge of food and cooking with people of all ages and experience.
Ms Jaana Alunni
Jaana holds a degree in Retail Management and has held positions in restaurants in Miami Florida. Jaana is our Office Manager, Marketing Director, and Teaching Assistant.
