Description
Embark on a culinary journey to Italy without leaving Knoxville in this fun, hands on, and interactive class! Tortellini, tiny hat-shaped bundles of filled pasta, are one of the most iconic and beloved dishes of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. They are particularly associated with the provinces of Bologna and Modena; each has claimed for centuries that they originated the dish and that their version reigns supreme. Maybe we didn’t invent them, but we sure are going to perfect them during this fun Chef taught class. Chef John will walk you through the process of hand making pasta dough the way it has been done for generations. Then we will roll it out, cut it into shapes, stuff with a delicious filling, and fold them to perfection. Best of all we will make a sauce and a broth to accompany our tortellini and enjoy them in class! Price is for one person.
