In this fun, hands on, and interactive class, students will learn 5 major cooking methods used by professional Chefs! Each day will focus on a new cooking method where students will practice hands on while preparing a variety of foods. Students will learn basic knife skills, cooking, and preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and organization. This is a great course that will give your child the skills needed to prepare delicious meals at home using various cooking methods while gaining an appreciation for the many different types of foods and ingredients that will be used in class. Class dates: July 29th-August 2nd. 

Monday: Grilling techniques

Tuesday: Roasting techniques

Wednesday: Frying techniques

Thursday: Saute techniques

Friday: Moist heat cooking techniques
