In this fun, hands on, and interactive class, students will learn how to bake like the Pastry Chefs do! We will explore various techniques while creating a wide variety of baked goods. From rolling and kneading to forming and shaping, students will learn techniques used every day by the experts. This class is a must for any child interested in baking. Class dates: July 15th-19th.
Monday: (Bread baking techniques) Herb bread sticks, veggie pull apart bread, French baguette
Tuesday: (Pies and tarts) Summer berry pies, Mini strawberry tarts, double citrus tart
Wednesday: (Cookies and Bars) Sugar cookies and decorating, black forest finger brownies
Thursday: (Muffins and pastries) Breakfast banana loaf breads, mini muffins, scones
Friday: (Doughnuts) Cake doughnuts, yeast doughnuts, decorating and glazing
