Learn how to prepare sauces flawlessly in this fun, hands on, and interactive class! There are five basic sauces on which most sauces are based. These five sauces are called the “mother sauces” and to learn them is to open up a whole new dimension in your cooking and food preparation! In this class, Chef will teach you how to make all five of the mother sauces and how to extend them into further sauces! Take your cooking to the next level with us!

In this class, we make the 5 mother sauces, then variations. Here are the mother sauces, their variants, and then the dish we will make:

Béchamel Sauce – Sauce Mornay
Mac ‘n Cheese
Velouté Sauce – Sauce Suprême 
Grilled Chicken with Sauce Suprême
Tomate Sauce – Sauce Provençal
Roasted Fish with Sauce Provençal
Espagnole Sauce – Sauce Chasseur 
Pan-Seared Beef with Sauce Chasseur
Hollandaise Sauce – Bearnaise Sauce
Roasted Asparagus with Bearnaise
