Learn how to bake like a Pastry Chef in this fun, hands on, and interactive 6 class club! Baking is always more fun with friends and this club is an excellent way to meet new people with similar interests and improve your baking and pastry skills while learning tips, tricks, and techniques from our Professional Pastry Chef Instructor! This club gives you the hands-on foundation of knowledge and skill to take you to a higher level of baking. In this 6 day hands-on course you’ll develop a command of classic pastry and baking techniques. You will also learn and use a variety of pastry methods. Our Bake Like a Pastry Chef Club is a “must-take” class if you want to master the basics of baking and gain the confidence to experiment with your own creations and grow as a home baker. Join us and gain a new appreciation of baking while enjoying an amazing experience!

Our baking club is a private group of people that share the same love and passion for baking and meet together monthly to explore the Pastry Arts. You will get to bake with the same group for the duration of the club and be taught by our professional Pastry Chefs. We provide recipes, ingredients, and any tools you will need. All you have to do is show up ready to learn and have fun.

As part of this exclusive club you will:

Class Schedule: (6PM-9PM)

  • Class 1: January 13th

  • Class 2: January 20th

  • Class 3: January 27th

  • Class 4: February 3rd

  • Class 5: February 10th

  • Class 6: February 17th

Course Curriculum:

Class 1: Basics of baking

  • Proper weighing and measuring techniques for success

  • Preparing perfect batters and flavorings

  • Baking delicious moist cakes, spiral bundt cakes, and cupcakes

  • Beautiful topping and glazing techniques

Class 2: Decorating cakes

  • How to use a pastry bag and how to choose the right decorating tip

  • Making and flavoring light fluffy buttercream frosting

  • How to decorate using fondant

  • Applying drips to cakes

Class 3: French Pastries Macarons

  • Making French macarons like a pro

  • Troubleshooting macaron issues and correcting them

  • Preparing flavorings and fillings

  • Decorating and coloring your macarons

Class 4: French Pastries Cream Puffs, Swans, and Eclairs

  • Making successful cream puffs, swans, and eclairs

  • How to Make Pate Choux

  • Preparing and piping fillings

  • Using toppings and ganache

  • Decorating techniques

Class 5: Delicious Seasonal Quick Breads

  • How to make tall fluffy and buttery biscuits

  • Making and glazing scones using seasonal flavors

  • Making delicious sweet and savory quick breads

  • Pull apart cheesy onion bread

  • Glazed yogurt zucchini and walnut bread

Class 6: Boozy Baking Techniques

  • Basics of baking and flavoring with booze

  • Adding alcohol to batters for flavor and “a kick”

  • Making booze flavored glaze and buttercream

  • Glazed rum spiral bundt cake

  • Peach bourbon upside down cake with bourbon peach glaze

  • Making and decorating festive margarita cupcakes with tequila lime buttercream and flaky sea salt

Due to the nature of our cooking clubs, no make ups for missed classes or swapping for another person not in the club will be permitted.
