Embark on a culinary journey to Italy without leaving Knoxville in this fun, hands-on, and interactive class! Tortellini, tiny hat-shaped bundles of filled pasta, are one of the most iconic and beloved dishes of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. They are particularly associated with the provinces of Bologna and Modena. Each has claimed for centuries that they originated the dish and that their version reigns supreme. Maybe we didn’t invent them, but we sure are going to perfect them during this fun class. Chef John will walk you through the process of hand-making pasta dough the way it has been done for generations. Then we will roll it out, cut it into shapes, stuff with delicious fillings, and fold them to perfection. Best of all You will get to eat what we make in class!
