We teach children how to cook and bake whole foods from scratch. Our Kids’ Cooking Classes are taught by area Chefs in our 3,000-square-foot, fully equipped, and state-of-the-art instructional facility where your child will experience new foods and preparation techniques, learn valuable life skills, and hone cooking abilities in a fun and safe learning environment. How It Works:
- Our Chef Instructors demonstrate, guide, coach, and support your child
- Students learn proper food handling and safety techniques
- Students work individually and in groups while preparing a large variety of foods hands-on
- Students get to eat what is prepared in class
- We teach how to use kitchen equipment, cookware, and everything else needed to be proficient in the kitchen
- We supply all food, ingredients, a hat, and an apron
- Soft drinks are available for purchase during classes
- Complimentary Filtered water is available
Class Schedule:
- Monday: Basic Knife Skills & Safety, Following A Recipe, Mise En Place, Measuring And Weighing Ingredients. Breakfast Foods, Belgian Waffles with Fresh Berries, Veggie Frittatas, & Hashbrown Potato Casserole
- Tuesday: How To Stew: Hearty Beef Stew, Braised Chicken Over Egg Noodles, & Swedish Meatballs
- Wednesday: How To Fry: Bang Bang Shrimp, Homemade Egg Rolls, & Fried Chicken Tenders
- Thursday: How To Cast Iron Pan Sear: Pan Seared Salmon, Chicken, & Butter Garlic Sauce, Asparagus
